RESEARCH PROFILE
My primary research interests are Power Systems, Power System Deregulation and Computational Intelligence Applications to Power Systems
My research focuses on building computationally intelligent algorithm for the process of Unit Commitment for a large scale power system. My approach is to use biologically inspired techniques such as genetic algorithms (GA), Particle swarm optimization(PSO), Ant colony optimization along with the artificial intelligent techniques of fuzzy logic, ANN etc. that provides in a computationally intensive, accurate and speedy solution
